Bulgarian street artist Erase (aka Georgi Dimitrov) is spreading his artistic talents across cityscapes; erasing all the ugly walls he can lay his hands on. Erase is also an illustrator who works in a graphic design and comic book style. His bold, colorful graffiti murals have a strong connection to traditional graffiti styles, yet also incorporate his illustrative and graphic design styles. The result is a collaboration between old and new ideas and styles that appeals to street art lovers from both the old school and the new.
While many of the subjects in Erase’s street art paintings are cartoonish caricatures of humans, he has also created a couple of portrait pieces that boast beautiful faces and stand apart from his old school graffiti characters. This is an artist who is exploring his own personality, out in the open, while allowing the world at large to view his evolution of self.
