On his website, Spanish street artist Dulk treats his fans to a rare sight; the sketches that he bases his murals paintings on. Below you can see a couple of these sketches, but for a real treat; and check out his illustrations and mixed media paintings too.
Dulk also goes by the name Antonio Segura Donat, and has become a popular artist not just in Spain, but around the world. The appeal of Dulk’s art is that no matter whether it is a small sketch or a two-storey street art painting; there’s bound to be something in the design that will speak to every personality type. Many of his art works boast the currently popular pop surrealism style, in which cartoonish characters are created in a realistic fashion. Pop surrealism hints at the possibility of other worlds in which these creatures live and each of Dulk’s sketches and street art paintings do the same by delighting the imagination with the suggestion that there is more to this world than meets the eye.
