The Italian city of Naples (Napoli in Italian) comes under artistic attack when a single paste-up artist papers the streets with his biblical art. The beginning of the video shows the artist at work in his studio, creating paste-up graffiti pieces with oil paint on paper. We later see Zilda wandering the city choosing sites to display his artistic graffiti.<\/p>\n

Zilda bases his designs on Classical art, which was popularized in the 17th century and depicted dramatic sculptures and paintings of Greek and Roman gods and goddesses. Christian societies in Europe used classical art to paint scenes from the Christian bible. Notable artists of this period are Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci. Zilda uses the same anatomy and body poses in his street art works, but his art looks more like a woodcut than an oil painting. He also uses many characters that are found in classical art, such as angels, cherubs and madonna figures.<\/p>\n
