Pixel Pancho is a street artist from Turin, Italy, who has created street art murals across the world. From Poland to Puerto Rico, Pixel Pancho has left in his wake a legacy of robotic characters who are engaged in a variety of human activities. Some robots sit in wheelchairs, forgotten by society at large while others grab a surfboard and head down to the beach. Though Pancho’s robot street art characters are inhuman in outward appearance, they have distinctly human personality traits. Each of Pixel Pancho’s graffiti robots exhibit a human emotion, whether it is hostility, hopelessness, happiness or determination, mirroring the emotions of passers-by who view the paintings while bringing into question what it is exactly to be human.\u00a0Even his non-human robots, which are based on animals and fantasy creatures, have personalities and emotions that resemble those of humans.<\/p>\n
The artist uses a variety of materials to create his graffiti art works, including aerosol paint, brushes, rollers, paste, paper and tiles.
