Somewhere in Brazil, an unsuspecting wall finds itself face to face with street artists Galo and Ignoto. Galo, also known as MakeOne, works on the left side of the wall while Ignoto brings his artistic talent to the right hand side of the mural. Together, the two artists create a fantasy scene that would not be out of place in a children’s book or on the cover of a CD. Both artists have illustrative styles, and yet there is little similarity between their styles. The result of combining two different styles like this is that each artist’s personality really comes through in the piece. In a way it’s the visual equivalent of holding a conversation.<\/p>\n

Many graffiti artists are choosing to collaborate with other street artists, sometimes forming groups of three or four people to work on a single mural. This emerging trend means that not only do the artists get to showcase their skills, network with other artists and have a good time, they also have several contrasting artistic styles in one painting that offset their own style in different ways.<\/p>\n
